The Certified Translation (TC) is the version translated into a target language of a source language document by a Certified Translator of the Peruvian Association of Professional Licensed Translators (CTP – Colegio de Traductores del Perú).
The TC is an indivisible unit composed of the cover page, the document translated into the target language and the source language document. It comes in two presentation formats (physical and digital format “TCD”) with similar visual characteristics that make it easily identifiable. The TC is considered an intangible document, endorsed by the Peruvian Association of Professional Licensed Translators (CTP – Colegio de Traductores del Perú).
The TC in physical format is a printed document consisting of three clearly identified elements: the cover page, the translation and the original document.
The Digital Certified Translation (TCD) is a digitally signed document in secure PDF format, consisting of three clearly identified elements: the cover page, the translation and the original document.

NON-CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS

A non-certified translation is an unofficial translation, that is to say, it does not have signatures or stamps, nor does it have legal validity.

Proofreading and editing
This service consists of proofreading and editing an original text, taking care of style and grammatical details. Little by little, the text is polished, reordering ideas and adjusting expressions.
Special attention is paid to various aspects: ideas, structure, coherence, cohesion, appropriateness, comprehensibility, word repetition, syntax, style, grammar, spelling, punctuation and presentation.
The objective of the proofreading and editing process is to give clarity, conciseness and harmony to the text, not only adding value to it, but also making it understandable to the reading public.
CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
Consecutive interpreting is when a speaker delivers a speech and the interpreter reproduces it in another language, usually with the help of note-taking. As the speaker pauses, the interpreter intervenes by relaying the speech in the target language. This type of service is usually provided at conferences, although nowadays remote interpreting is usually provided by Zoom or other communication platforms.
LIAISON INTERPRETING
Liaison interpreting is usually performed at business meetings, factory visits, and other events in a more flexible and spontaneous context. The interpreter is the communication link between two parties speaking different languages.

Audio transcription
Transcription is putting an audio, a conversation or a recording in writing. The time it takes to transcribe an audio will depend on different factors, such as: complexity of the subject of the recording, number of speakers, audio quality, among others.
Localization
Localization consists of adapting an original source, such as a website or advertising material, so that the product or service it offers can be marketed in the target market. It involves not only translating, but also taking into account the cultural aspects of the country in which the product or service is to be sold.
Linguistic consulting
This service includes accompanying the client in the writing of reports and business correspondence, speeches, among other types of written and oral communication in order to convey the message with the utmost clarity and professionalism.
